The world is (mostly!) back open for business, and we have been very excited to send corporate travellers on their merry way once more. At TravelManor, we do everything possible to ensure that our clients enjoy a streamlined journey from start to finish, which is why we love to share our insider tips and tricks.
If you are getting ready to pack for a business flight sometime soon, here are 10 things we recommend you take in your carry-on:
This includes your passport, driver's license, photo ID, business visa/work permit (if necessary), supporting documents from work for the purpose of your travel, contracts and memos for meetings, travel insurance, boarding pass etc.
Make sure that your laptop, smartphone, smartwatch, tablet, etc. are all fully charged before you leave home and take care to pack the relevant charging cable for each device.
Just in case, you never know when you might need to power up one of your devices on the fly.
Also, keep your wallet, cash, traveller's checks and any corporate credit cards you need to use on your journey close by.
Sure, you can get headphones on the flight, but if you plan to use your personal devices, it’s best to bring your compatible headphones from home. If you have the noise-cancelling kind, all the better!
You never know what might happen, so be prepared with a spare set of wrinkle-proof clothing in your carry-on. This can save the day if there is an unexpected spill, or your luggage is misplaced (heavens forbid!).
Get a medicine organiser and mete out all your dosages for the time you’ll be in transit. This way you don’t have to carry full-size containers.
It’s always good to stay hydrated during a flight, but little plastic bottles of water often don’t cut it. A collapsible water bottle with a filter allows you to get refills from the bathroom.
Aeroplanes can get chilly, so if you tend to get cold quickly, it’s a good idea to pack some warm socks, a scarf and a beanie.
Not all aeroplane meals are created equal. If you are a fussy customer, be sure to pack a few sealed, non-liquid snacks to enjoy on the plane to tide you over if the food is not to your liking.
